  1. Does Banquo believe that Malcom and Donaldbain killed their father Duncan? Or does he believe that someone else did it and is trying to put the blame on them?

  2. I think he knows something is going on and someone else is trying to put the blame on the sons because it is more convienent to think they killed him and ran.

  5. Danielle,...I think that at first Banquo wants to believe Malcolm and Donalbain killed their father but he really deep down inside knows that it was Macbeth trying to fulfill his prophecy of becoming king. I think though that he wasn't really trying to put blame on anyone.

when macbeth saw the dagger, is it a sign of guilt or something showing the future.

  9. Justin, Macbeth says that the dagger is showing him the way he is to go. He seems to just accept that he must do the deed: he will kill Duncan. But, it could also foreshadow the guilt that will come later when he has Banquo killed and then sees his ghost.

  10. I think Macbeth is a weak character and Lady Macbeth is the much stronger of the two.
